Shore Excursion: Hop On – Hop Off Bus

All Stromma’s ”shore excursion” trips are subject to our ‘money back guarantee’ and our ‘back-to-ship guarantee’. Please read more about these below.

Money back:
If your cruise line changes port or arrival time due to any unexpected changes, and you miss your excursion with Stromma, we will refund the purchase price unless we can find a suitable alternative to the excursion you have booked.

Back-to-ship:
We guarantee that all our shore excursion customers will make it back to their cruise ship in time for departure. In the unlikely event that you miss your ship due to late arrival of one of our tours, we will arrange and pay for transportation to the next port of call. This requires:

- You must depart from stop nr. 1 – Ved Stranden, with the Mermaid Route at least 2 hours before the gates close on your cruise ship.

- For guests to/from Oceankaj a cruise shuttle is available from the Little Mermaid, stop 5 every hour from 12.00 to 6.00 pm (the last Mermaid Route leaves at 5.30 pm from Ved Stranden, stop 1, and this one joins the Little Mermaid for the last shuttle).

Langeliniekaj
This is one of Copenhagen’s main ports for cruise ships. This harbour is located on our Hop On - Hop Off Mermaid route, bus stop 6, 7 and 8. The Mermaid Tour runs with a 10-30 min. frequency.

Oceankaj
This harbour is located ‘off the route’ and has a short transfer by sightseeing shuttle bus to join the Mermaid route at the Little Mermaid, bus stop 5. A cruise ship shuttle is offered to return guests to their ship which departs again from the Little Mermaid. This service is included in your Hop On - Hop Off ticket.

Frihavn
This harbour is located ‘off the route’ and has a short transfer by sightseeing shuttle bus to join the Mermaid route at the Little Mermaid, bus stop 5. A cruise ship shuttle is offered to return guests to their ship which departs again from the Little Mermaid. This service is included in your Hop On - Hop Off ticket.
Guests will be required to show their cruise identification as Frihavn is a restricted port.

Nordre Toldbod
Our Hop On - Hop Off Mermaid route passes approximately 200 meters from this smaller port, every 10-30 min. Guests can join the tour at the Gefion Fountain, bus stop 4.

Pick up from the cruise terminal
The buses are waiting for you at the cruise terminal. We make sure that you will be back on your cruise ship in time.

Stromma's red and green buses
During the tour you can visit all major attractions and museums in your own pace. This bus ticket is valid on both the green Hop On – Hop Off buses and the red City Sightseeing Worldwide buses.

Discount vouchers on board
On board the bus you will receive a coupon booklet with discounts to selected shops, bars, cafés, restaurants and attractions in and around Copenhagen.
