We want you to feel safe when you book and use Stromma's experiences. Therefore we have created a privacy policy, where we describe how we treat personal data. Stromma's privacy policy

Cookies

Stromma uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart and the language in which you use on the site. If you delete your cookies or is located on a network where the cookies are not saved, you will not be able to save items in your shopping cart between visits. You must also allow cookies on our website in order to use the activity finder and make a purchase.

Security

Sensitive information such as a credit card number is always sent encrypted (SSL) to Stromma in order for third parties not to be able to access the information. Data is not stored by Stromma, but only passed on to the credit card company. Everywhere where sensitive data is being sent the transfer is encrypted.

Camera Surveillance Policy 

Surveillance Policy – CCTV in All Stromma Shops.

Purpose of Surveillance

The purpose of installing CCTV cameras is to ensure the safety of employees and customers, prevent and document incidents such as theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, and to protect company assets.

Camera Placement

Cameras are installed at:

  • Entrances and exits
  • Cash registers (without filming screens or PIN inputs)
  • Shop floor

No cameras are installed in or directed toward dressing rooms, toilets, or other sensitive areas.

Legal Basis

The legal basis for processing video data is the legitimate interest of the company (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). A balancing of interests has been conducted to ensure privacy is not disproportionately affected.

Data Retention

Footage is stored for a maximum of 120 hours, unless an incident has occurred. In that case, relevant footage may be retained until the incident is resolved.

Access Control

Only authorized personnel with a legitimate task (e.g. security manager) have access to the recordings. Access is logged and monitored.

Information to Data Subjects

Clear signage is placed at all entry points to the monitored areas. These signs include:

  • Notification of surveillance
  • Purpose
  • Contact information
  • QR code linking to this full policy

Data Subject Rights

Data subjects may request access to footage in which they appear, subject to identification and technical limitations. Requests can be submitted via legal@stromma.nl.

International Transfers

No data is transferred outside the EU.
