You can find Stromma Utrecht with its Pedal Boat jetty at the Oudegracht 165, which is also the embark and disembark location point for the paddle boats. The dock is located near the old library opposite the Winkel van Sinkel. We are located right in the center so there are many restaurants nearby for a cup of coffee, a nice lunch or a well-deserved drink for before or after the activity.
Follow a canal route through the center
In Utrecht there are three routes that you can sail and for which you can rent a paddle boat. All routes are indicated with a color. The duration of the routes is about 1.5 hours, starting from the Oudegracht and then at your own pace make a Pedal Boat tour through the beautiful city.
Maintenance of the Monicabridge
From 27 July to 31 August, maintenance work will be carried out on the Monicabridge.
Route 2 will not be accessible on the following dates: 27 July and 1, 2, 21, 22, and 23 August.
On all other days during this period, Route 2 will remain accessible. However, the canal passage will be restricted to a width of 5 metres at the bridge. This may result in increased traffic and possible congestion near the Monicabridge.

The canals of Utrecht: the Oudegracht
The beautiful sailing route across the city leads you, among other things, along the most famous canal of all: the Oudegracht. Constructed in the Middle Ages with its wharves on both sides, it is unique in the world. The canal was laid out at the beginning of the 12th century. You can still taste the Middle Ages today when you rent a boat or a pedal boat and travel along the waterways. For a moment back in time!
Opening hours
You can rent a pedal boat between 11:30 in the morning and 16:00 in the afternoon, so you can still pedal until half past five.
