With a day ticket, you can take your time relaxing on the water as well as exploring the different areas around the lakes. Take the full tour or hop off to enjoy a picnic, visit Sophienholm, or stroll through Aldershvile Park.

Lyngby Lake – Mølleåen – Bagsværd Lake
On this 75-minute boat tour, we take you across Lyngby Lake, along the historic Mølleåen, and around Bagsværd Lake. The boat tour has six stops along the way, allowing you to make the most of your visit by combining sailing with exploring the amazing surroundings.
Furesøen
Enjoy a boat tour on Denmark's deepest lake on selected Sundays from June 28 through August 16. The entire round-trip takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, but you're welcome to hop off along the way to explore the area.

Located just 13 kilometers from the heart of Copenhagen, Baadfarten is easily reachable by public transportation, bike, or car.
How to get to the ticket house at Sorgenfrivej by public transportation:
- Take S-train Line A toward Hillerød St. or S-train Line E toward Holte St.
- Hop off at Lyngby St. (18–21 minutes)
- Walk from Lyngby St. to Sorgenfrivej 23 (about 600 meters)

Hop off at Lyngby/Sorgenfrivej to walk along Prinsessestien (The Princess Path) and explore the 50-hectare protected swamp area. With 300 plant species and diverse wildlife, you might spot deer, owls, or hear woodpeckers and toads.
Explore Hjertestien (The Heart Path):
Get off at Frederiksdal and follow this 4.5-kilometer trail through the forest, along the lake, and past excellent birdwatching spots. Benches and toilets are available along the tour.
Mølleåen – A Stream from the Ice Age
Mølleåen is a natural stream, formed after the Ice Age and excavated in the 1880s as part of Copenhagen’s defense. Over the years, it has evolved into more of a canal than a stream.
Hop off at Frederiksdal, a popular excursion area rich in history and full of places to explore. Take a walk in the park attached to Frederiksdal Castle or in the forest and treat yourself to a delicious lunch at Frederiksdal Sinatur Hotel & Conference.
