Get onboard one of the beautiful wooden boats and discover the wonderful Millstream (Mølleåen), a natural stream which emerged after the ice age and was later excavated in the 1880’s as part of Copenhagen’s defense, and therefore now more has the characteristics of a canal than a stream.
The area around Frederiksdal is a popular excursions spot with a lot of history and places to discover. You can for example find the privately owned Frederiksdal Castle with the beautiful public park attached to it, where you can take a walk. Lyngby Lake's forest area is extremely diverse and more than 300 different plant species grown in this protected area.
The roundtrip takes approx. 55 minutes and you can either sit back and enjoy the wind in your hair taking in the beautiful nature, or make use of the stops along the tour.
Please note the ticket is not for a specific departure time and there is a limited number of seats on the boats.
