With a Boat & Bike Ticket, you get the best of both worlds! Copenhagen is known as the bike capital of the world, with bike lanes everywhere. Many locals bike to school and work to save time, enjoy fresh air, and have the freedom to set their own schedule.
Surrounded by water, it’s only natural that locals love sailing or swimming at one of the city’s many harbor baths, making a boat tour a must on your things-to-do list.
Discover Must-See Sights by Boat
Stromma’s Classic Canal Tour is a must when in Copenhagen! This 1-hour boat tour takes you past many popular attractions and important landmarks, offering a great overview of the city.
We have several daily departures year-round, and you can choose between live-guided tours in English and Danish, or audio-guided tours in six different languages. During the summer, we sail with open boats; in the colder months, we switch to covered and heated boats.

Tips & Tricks for Riding a Bike in Copenhagen
Riding a bike in Copenhagen might feel intimidating because locals ride quickly and know their routes well. We’ve gathered these helpful tips to ensure you fit right in:
- Don’t ride side by side if it takes up the entire bike path. Ride in a single file or in pairs if the path is wide enough
- Always stay on the right side of the bike path or road unless you’re passing a slower rider
- Look back before moving to the left side of the path or road
- At stoplights, cross only on green, and watch for pedestrians when turning
- Biking on sidewalks or pedestrian crossings isn’t permitted
- Always signal! There are three very important signals to remember:
1. Stop: Raise your hand (left hand is most visible, but either hand is okay)
2. Left turn: Extend your left arm out sideways
3. Right turn: Extend your right arm out sideways
