Live guided canal cruise along the light show
Sit back in the covered and heated boat, and listen to the guide's stories of the artworks, the artists and the thoughts behind their piece. The festival presents both Danish and international artists and designers who have created unique light installations along the waterfront. This guided canal cruise starts from our departure point Ved Stranden and sails for 45 minutes.

Both visitors and residents gather to explore the artistic light show installations. In Copenhagen, unique light installations will light up the city, particularly along the water fronts. Copenhagen Light Festival is shining a light through the Danish February darkness with poetic, amazing, surprising, and meditative lights along the canals and harbor.

All our boats are covered and heated
We sail in both heavy wind and rain as the boats are covered and heated. In case of high tide our departure is from the National Bank. You will be informed at the ticket house. In case of heavy ice on the canals, the tour will be cancelled. We will keep you updated here on the website.
