Michael Björklund is one of the most famous chefs in the Nordic countries. He grew up on the Åland Islands between Sweden and Finland. Michael came fifth in the world-famous Bocuse d’Or competition and has performed in many popular cooking programmes on both Finnish and Swedish TV, as well as in the Finnish lifestyle programme Strömsö. On the Åland Islands, Michael is the welcoming restaurateur and chef of the Restaurant Smakby and is known and loved by locals and thousands of visitors alike.
