Volendam
Take a trip from Amsterdam to the charming village of Volendam, known for its traditional character, colorful houses, and rich fishing history. Since the 19th century, Volendam has been a popular destination for travelers and artists who want to experience traditional Dutch life.
Upon arrival, you are free to explore the village independently. Walk along the famous dike, where you’ll enjoy views over the harbor filled with traditional boats. The streets are lined with souvenir shops, cafés, and restaurants where you can try local dishes.

During your visit, you can stop by a cheese farm, where you’ll learn how traditional Dutch cheeses are made and of course, taste a variety of them.
