Celebrate New Year’s Eve with family and friends aboard a boat in the Gothenburg Archipelago. Enjoy a magical evening with a sumptuous New Year’s menu, the city’s best views and a festive atmosphere, framed by the elegant interiors aboard the vintage M/S Göteborg. A special New Year celebration that you’ll always remember!
New Year’s Eve dinner – luxurious six-course menu
Your evening begins with a glass of champagne as a welcome drink. In the M/S Göteborg’s beautiful dining room, we serve a luxurious six-course New Year’s Eve dinner composed by restaurateur Lotta Bäckström. The food is prepared using carefully selected ingredients, with an added touch of luxury in honour of the occasion. Choose the menu you want when you book – meat, fish or vegan. To further enhance your dining experience, we recommend that you order our drinks package for dinner – naturally there’s an alcohol-free alternative.
The stroke of midnight in the archipelago
Toast the New Year with a glass of champagne at midnight. By that time, the boat will be moored at the entrance to the Port of Gothenburg, and you can enjoy all the beautiful fireworks across the city from a front row vantage point.
New Year’s Eve cruise times
Welcome aboard the M/S Göteborg at 7.15pm at Lilla Bommen. At 8pm the boat casts off and we slowly glide out into the archipelago to enjoy dinner and the New Year’s celebrations. At 1am, we dock back at the quay after a wonderful evening and welcoming in the New Year.
