Security Incident

Important information regarding our booking system 

We have been informed of a security incident affecting one of our IT suppliers. The incident may have involved personal information connected to customer bookings. 

Please be alert to suspicious messages 
The information that may have been affected is the information contained in your booking confirmation. We have no indication that payment or card details have been affected. 

At present, we have no information indicating that the data has been used for fraudulent purposes. However, booking information can potentially be used to make fraudulent messages appear more convincing. Similar incidents in the travel industry have involved fraudulent emails, text messages and WhatsApp messages referring to genuine booking details and requesting payment.  

We therefore encourage you to be particularly cautious if you receive an email, text message, phone call or other communication referring to your booking and asking you to: 

• click on a link or open an attachment 
• provide personal information, passwords or payment card details 
• make an additional or unexpected payment 

Stromma will never ask you to provide passwords or payment card details by email or text message. 

What are we doing? 
We are working closely with our supplier to investigate the incident and determine its scope. The investigation is ongoing, and we will update this information if our assessment changes. 

Customers who may be affected are being informed directly.
