What is the difference between all different festival cruises?
The Amsterdam Light Festival Canal Cruise is the standard Amsterdam Light Festival cruise.
The Amsterdam Light Festival Open Boat Tour takes the same route as the regular cruise, but on an open boat. From the Open Boat you will even have a better view at the art works. Blankets will be available aboard.
What is the duration of the Festival cruises?
All cruises take approximately 75 minutes.
Where do the cruises depart from?
- The Amsterdam Light Festival Canal Cruise departs from the mooring at Damrak Pier 5, between Central Station and Dam Square.
- The Open Boat Tour departs from the mooring at Damrak pier 6, between Central Station and Dam Square.
Can I make a reservation for the Festival cruises over the phone?
No, unfortunately it is not possible to make reservations over the phone for any of these cruises. You can buy tickets through our webshop or at any of our shops in the city.
I’d like to book a Amsterdam Pizza Cruise during Amsterdam Light Festival?
The Amsterdam Pizza Cruise will not sail during the Amsterdam Light Festival from December 02, 2021 to January 23, 2022.

I want to change the date and time of my reservation. Is that possible?
Yes, this is possible. Depending on availability you can change your reservation. Please contact our Reservation team at 020 217 0500.
What is the minimum number of people to make a reservation for the different cruises?
You can make a reservation for these cruises as from 1 person.
From what age do children have to pay?
From 4 years of age children have to buy a ticket. The child fare applies to children from 4 to 12 years of age.
Do I have to print my e-ticket?
No, if you have an online ticket or a voucher, it can also be displayed on a smartphone.
Where do I enter my discount code?
Step 1: Go to the product you want to book.
Step 2: Click on 'book now' and then on 'I have a discount code'. Enter your retrieved discount code here. The discount will be automatically calculated.
Step 3: Choose the date you want to sail, choose the number of persons and click 'next'.
Step 4: Choose the time you want to depart and click on 'book'.
Step 5: You will now see your order summary in your shopping basket, click on 'continue'
Step 6: Fill in your data and click 'confirm and pay
Is there a bar on board?
No, there is no possibility to buy drinks on board. However, you can buy snacks and drinks on the jetty of buy a picnic basket for on the Open Boat.
Can I take a baby carriage on board?
No, unfortunately there is no room for it on board.
Can I board with a wheelchair?
Unfortunately, our boats are not accessible for wheelchairs. However, if the wheelchair can be folded up and you can walk a few steps, it is possible to board.
Can I bring my dog on board?
No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed on board.
Is there heating on board?
Yes, our Canal Cruises are heated when it is cold outside.
The open boats are not heated. We do provide blankets on board.
How many people can go on one boat?
On average, 50 people can board our tour boats.
On the sloops, a maximum of 12 to 35 people can board, depending on the boat.
Is there a toilet on the dock?
Unfortunately not, but we do have toilets on board our Canal Cruises. There is no toilet on the Open boats/sloops

You can rebook your own tickets if you did not use a promo code during the booking. Please follow the steps below:
1. Look for the confirmation email with your sailing tickets.
2. Scroll down and click on 'Manage your order'.
3. In the web page, click 'Booking details' and then 'Edit booking'.
4. Move the booking to a new time and/or date.
5. Your new ticket(s) will be emailed to you immediately.
