Go with M/S Tärnan, also called Sandhamnspilen, between Stavsnäs and the popular archipelago island Sandhamn. On board, there are air-conditioned lounges, a wind-protected sun deck, and a cafeteria with some food, sandwiches, coffee, and alcohol. The journey takes 30 minutes and is driven by Roslagens Sjötrafik.
Take a bus or car to Stavsnäs
Stavsnäs is easily reached by SL bus or car and the journey takes just under an hour from central Stockholm. The buses stop right at the dock where the boat departs from. If you come by car, there is a large long-term parking where you can park and buy tickets in the vending machines.
