Gather your friends and head out to sea
This boat tour is an excellent option for afterwork, an evening out with friends or simply a way to enjoy the summer in the city. The tour is not guided – you will only hear relaxing background music as you tour the archipelago. This cruise is all about sharing and making memories and relaxing with your favourite people. However, if you are interested in the route, you can follow it on the route maps that are available on the boat.
Floating archipelago terrace at your service!
Are you looking for a terrace that will be sunny until you finish your drink? Our large sundeck guarantees a place in the sun and unobstructed views over the sea at all times. And if the summer night turns out to be chillier than expected, you can always sit indoors. The cosy cafeteria has large windows in all directions, so you will not miss out on the sea view. Our bar sells a variety of cold beverages and light snacks.
The Helsinki coast and the districts
Helsinki has over 130 kilometres of coastline, featuring a wide range of different landscapes, cafeterias, restaurants, ports and beaches. Hop on board and experience the magical atmosphere of Helsinki in summer. Our archipelago boats take you through the most popular coastal areas of the city. The route offers a close-up of the authentic atmosphere of urban summer nights, with locals gathering on the cliffs and seaside terraces to enjoy the evening sun.
The cruise begins with the beautiful red-brick buildings of Kanavaranta, the historical Katajanokka district and a close-up view of the impressive icebreakers. From there, the scenery transforms into the modern silhouette of Kalasatama, where sleek high-rises and metro trains gleam on the horizon. Continuing into the archipelago, you’ll discover both old and new Helsinki – the charming Mustikkamaa, leafy Kulosaari, Herttoniemi and the emerging Kruunuvuorenranta.
Along the way, the route takes us under several bridges, including the elegant Isoisänsilta Bridge connecting Mustikkamaa to the mainland and the striking new Kruunuvuorensilta Bridge, which, once completed, will be the longest bridge in Finland with a soaring pylon reaching an impressive 135 metres.
Passing the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Suomenlinna is a highlight of the cruise – its imposing walls and historic fortifications rising from the sea are a sight to remember.
As the evening unfolds, the boat glides past Kaivopuisto beach, Mattolaituri, Café Ursula and Liuskasaari, where locals gather to savour the vibrant summer evening. The grand finale of the Evening Cruise is the iconic silhouette of Helsinki: the lively Market Square, the majestic dome of Helsinki Cathedral, the Uspenski Cathedral and the historic waterfront buildings that frame the city’s skyline.
