Vaxholm Kastell looms on a small island just outside of Vaxholm. Originally built to defend the city from naval attacks, it is today mainly used to host events, conferences and activities. A party venue has been established in the old armour storage underneath the fortress. Under the beautifully vaulted ceilings you can find an atmospheric dining hall in Restaurant Pansarbatteriet, a lit-up bar and a spacious dance floor. A party here is certainly a once in a lifetime experience!

When you step onboard this beautiful archipelago ship from 1912 it’s almost like travelling back through time. You can choose to cruise through the Stockholm archipelago or Lake Mälaren, and there is also the option of stopping to pick up guests on the way. The food is cooked on board by the ship’s restaurateurs and is made using seasonal and locally sourced produce.
