How the Boat Trip to Fjäderholmarna Work
Taking the boat to Fjäderholmarna is an easy and popular way to experience the archipelago up close. The island is a well-loved destination, with many travelers boarding our boats every day. When you book a specific departure time, you’ll have priority boarding for that departure. You’re also welcome to board a different departure, subject to availability. Please make sure to arrive well in advance and speak to our staff to make use of your priority.
Dogs are welcome on Fjäderholmarna, but must be kept on a leash at all times in accordance with Lidingö Municipality’s local regulations.
Unlimited travel with Fjäderholmarna’s seasonal card
The seasonal card is perfect if you love the island of Fjäderholmarna and want to spend a lot of time there this summer. With this card you can make unlimited trips there during the entire season. When you purchase the card you get a digital confirmation. The card is personal and must be shown in combination with valid photo identification.
Activities and crafts at Fjäderholmarna Island
Take a stroll around the island and enjoy beautiful views. Sunbathe from the cliffs. Visit Ullverkstan, the Glassworks and the Smithy for traditional crafts, and Fjäderholmarna Choklad for delicious handmade chocolate pralines.
A wide range of experiences and workshops – from crafts to tastings – are also available on the island and can easily be booked online.
There are also boules courts and scenic walking paths. If you're interested in maritime history and traditional boatbuilding, don’t miss the Allmogebåtar Association.
Restaurants, a brewpub and homemade ice cream
There are many places where you can eat and drink on the island. Enjoy the flavors of the archipelago at Fjäderholmarnas Krog or Rökeriet. Get a cup of coffee at Röda Villan or delight in homemade ice cream at Systrarna Degen. If you want to try Swedish beer, make a stop at Fjäderholmarnas Brewery and brewpub in the harbour.
The last boat back to Stockholm departs at midnight - plenty of time to enjoy the island.
