Discover Helsinki from the sea on a boat tour

Finland is known as the land of a thousand lakes, and while Helsinki itself doesn’t have many, you can still experience the capital from the water. The city’s location on the shores of the Baltic Sea offers a unique possibility to explore the sights of the city not only on land but also from the sea by boat – and Stromma’s popular sightseeing cruises are the perfect way to do it.

There are four unique cruise options, each offering a different view of the city’s scenic coastline:

  • Beautiful Canal Cruise – Ideal for nature lovers, this peaceful route takes you through the tranquil eastern archipelago and the picturesque Degerö Canal, showcasing Helsinki’s greener, more serene side. Commentary included.
  • City Highlights Cruise – Perfect for those wanting to see Helsinki’s iconic landmarks from the sea. This route follows the city’s shoreline, offering great views of historic buildings and famous sights – all from the comfort of the boat. Commentary included.
  • Want to enjoy a summer sunset with a slice of pizza? Hop aboard Stromma’s Pizza Cruise, where you can relax with your loved ones and take in the views of the Helsinki archipelago. This cruise is not guided.
  • Evening Cruise – This relaxing cruise is perfect for winding down after a day of exploring, offering stunning views of the archipelago as the sun begins to set. This cruise is not guided.
