Welcome on board and enjoy a journey that is an experience in itself. Travel from central Stockholm, through Skurusundet and the narrow strait Baggenstäket, to Gustavsberg in the middle of Stockholm archipelago. The boat makes a stop at Hålludden where the beautiful art museum Artipelag is located.
You travel on board M/S Gustafsberg VII or M/S Enköping, two beauties built 1912 and 1868 respectively. An English guide on board tells you about the history of Stockholm, Gustavsberg and why the ship has the same name as its destination.
To do in Gustavsberg
When you arrive in Gustavsberg you can stroll around the harbor among the many restaurants and cafés, or pay a visit to Gustavsbergs Konsthall - Sweden's only art gallery with exclusively crafts and applied arts. The art gallery has a shop where you can buy contemporary swedish crafts.
In Gustavsberg's harbor you can also take the opportunity to buy art glass, porcelain, kitchen utensils etc. in the oulet shops. An excellent opportunity to make bargains!
Café on board the boat
Enjoy the beautiful view and have a cup of coffee with pastries and freshly made sandwiches in the café on board the boat.
