At 1:00 PM, the boat arrives at the picturesque archipelago island of Grinda – a nature reserve renowned for its flower-filled meadows, smooth bathing rocks, and lush forests. Here you’ll take part in an authentic Swedish Midsummer celebration, complete with a maypole, folk music, dancing, singing, and joyous festivities. The celebration begins at 1:30 PM and draws both locals and visitors from near and far.
Tip: Bring a blanket to sit on during the festivities – many people gather on the grass to enjoy the atmosphere.
While the ship is docked, the onboard bar remains open, so you can continue to enjoy drinks and refreshments during your time on the island.
